Whole ham

Another popular Christmas dish, this ham is delicious with a brown sugar glaze.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole smoked ham
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons of red wine
  • 3 tablespoons of water

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the ham on a roasting pan. In a bowl, stir together the sugar, corn starch, cinnamon, wine, and water. Brush the mixture over the surface of the ham. Bake the ham in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Serving suggestion

Cooking times vary depending on the cut and weight of the ham; follow the package directions.
