Panelle

Ingredients:

  • 500 g Chick pea flour
  • 200 ml Water
  • Salt

Preparation:

Bring a pan of salted water ti the boil then slowly add the chick pea flour, stirring all the time with a wooden spoon until the mixture is quite smooth. Turn out on to a flat surface and level out to about 5 mm thick with a palette knife. Cut into circles with the rim of a glass and fry in hot oil.
