Slow cooker meatballs

This simple recipe is perfect for a holiday appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 bottle of barbecue sauce

Preparation:

In a large bowl, combine the egg, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, salt. Worcestershire sauce, and ground beef. Mix well, then form into balls. Place the meatballs in a greased slow cooker insert. Pour the barbecue sauce over the meatballs. Cover and cook on low for seven hours.

Serving suggestion:

Use your favorite barbecue sauce or make one from scratch to personalize this dish.
