Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • 500 g ditalini or broken up spaghetti
  • 50 g grated pecorino or Parmesan
  • 4-5 mature tomatoes
  • 2-3 red onion
  • 1 medium basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation:

Peel and dice the potatoes and skin, de seed and chop the tomatoes. Brown the chopped onion and add the prepared potatoes and tomatoes, the basil and the seasoning. Cover with a cut or two of hot water and cook for 20 to 30 minutes. Cook the pasta and drain when al dente sprinkle with grated cheese and mix in with the potatoes.
