Pasta tomato Parmesan spinach

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 lb pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage, optional
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/2 C grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

For 8 minutes boil pasta in water and salt until al dente. Remove excess water. Get a frying pan. Stir fry your garlic and onions in oil. Then for 5 minutes fry your sausage until fully cooked. Mix in your basil, tomatoes (with sauce), and broth. Add your spinach then lightly boil for 6 minutes or spinach becomes soft. Combine pasta and sausage cook for 2 minutes. Then garnish with cheese.
