Pumpkin spice oatmeal

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup toasted pecans

Preparation:

Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non stick spray. Combine all of the ingredients except the toasted pecans in a bowl and mix together well. Pour the mixture into your slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Stir the oatmeal and leave uncovered for 30 minutes to allow thicken. Sprinkle the toasted pecans on top before serving.
