Gravy is nearly a requirement for Christmas dinner, especially if you’re having turkey or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoon of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Preparation:

In a saucepan over medium heat, stir the butter, broth, flour, salt and pepper together. Continue heating, stirring frequently, until the gravy thickens.

Serving suggestion

If you have any leftover gravy from Christmas dinner, serve it up alongside biscuits the next day for breakfast.
