Candy corn blondies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups candy corn, roughly chopped

Preparation:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and generously spray an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, melt the butter. After a couple minutes, add the egg to the melted butter, followed by brown sugar and vanilla. Whisk until smooth. Stir in the flour until just combined. Stir in the roughly chopped candy corn. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth put the top. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until done. Cover for the last 5 minutes to prevent any exposed candy corn from burning. Allow the blondies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
