To save time, buy ready trimmed green beans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking time:\u00a0<\/strong>10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Portions:\u00a0<\/strong>2-4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:51:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:52:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">180 g\/6\u00bc oz green (French) beans, trimmed<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:52:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:53:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">160 g\/5\u00be oz sugar snap peas<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:53:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:54:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">\u00bd red onion, or 1 banana shallot<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for dressing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:56:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:57:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">1 small garlic clove<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:57:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:58:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:58:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:59:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">1 tbsp red wine vinegar<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:59:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:60:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">1 tsp mustard<span data-selectable=\"0\" data-singlespace=\"1\" data-lineend=\"1\" data-linebreak=\"1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"text_line\" data-position=\"4:60:0:0:0\" data-endposition=\"4:61:0:0:0\" data-complex=\"0\">Sea salt, to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place the green beans in a large saucepan, cover with water, and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 6 minutes, then add the sugar snaps and continue to cook for a couple of minutes, until tender. Make sure not to overcook the vegetables. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, finely slice the onion or shallot and set aside. Make the dressing. Finely chop the garlic and combine with the olive oil, vinegar, mustard and a little salt, to taste.
