Add the oil and heat it. Cook the onion in it for 3 minutes. Add the rice with 1\/2 C of broth. Cook it until it absorbs all the liquid. Stir in another 1\/2 C of broth and cook it again until the rice absorbs it. Repeat the process for the remaining broth. Stir in the cheese until it melts.
